It has always been my ultimate purpose in life to set myself goals and attempt to achieve them. It is important to make the distinction between goals that I set myself and goals that other people set for me. I find it difficult to derive satisfaction from achieving the goals that others set for me for whatever reason weather that be those given by teachers, parents, coaches, or peers. In any field into which I endeavor, I aim to be successful based on my own free will and motivation rather than the advice or requirements of others(no matter how much I might respect those individuals). That brings me to the first reason I chose this class. Because it is not work for me. I care and therefore it is fine, it lacks the vibe of medevil torture that I get from the environment of regular school classes. The other reason is the community, the steam space has all of the coolest most motivated talented people that I have ever met and so I feel like I just should be here, its my spot. My goal for this class is to finish a big project, something truly awesome and impressive.
